Accessibility statement

01Our target

We build CondoOS to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That covers this site, the console managers and boards use, the owner portal, and every association website CondoOS hosts.

02What we do to get there

These are the rules we build every screen to:

• Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and controls meet AA contrast, and nothing is shown by colour alone: every status also has a word and a shape.
• Pages reflow at 320 px wide and when text is enlarged to 200%, without sideways scrolling.
• Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Forms name every field to screen readers and say what went wrong, in words, next to the field.

Every release goes through automated accessibility checks, and we test with a keyboard and a screen reader every quarter.

03Known limitations

Records an association uploads, such as scanned minutes or a budget saved as an image, may not be readable by a screen reader. CondoOS shows them as the association posted them. If you can’t read one, ask and we’ll work with the association to get you the same information in a form you can use.

Beyond that, we know of no part of CondoOS that misses AA. If you find one, tell us.

04Report a barrier

If something on CondoOS is hard or impossible to use, tell us. Email info@sphereinc.com with “Accessibility” in the subject, the page’s address, what you were trying to do and what happened. Mention the device, browser and any assistive technology you use if you can.

A person reads every report. We reply within 5 working days and tell you what we’ll do and when.

05Another format

Owners can ask their association for any record in another format through its CondoOS website. Anyone can ask us for this statement, or any page of this site, in another format at info@sphereinc.com.
